Reservations and Deposits
  1. To process the booking you will need to complete the online booking form with your personal information.
  2. Once we confirm the booking, we will collect the reservation deposit necessary to hold your reservation. The amount will depend on the apartment being booked (maximum 20%). The payment for the reservation deposit should be made via credit card, paypal or bank transfer (upon request). The remaining amount of the total charge will be paid directly in CASH upon arrival (unless otherwise indicated in the web page of your apartment).
  3. Together with the Confirmation of your reservation, we will send you an email containing all the information you need for your arrival.
  4. For most apartments, a fully refundable Security Deposit will be required made upon check-in at the apartment. This deposit will be refunded by the contact person at the end of stay if no damage. It is also possible to leave a credit card imprint as security deposit, only for the apartments which accept credit card payments. Check the refundable security deposit for the apartment you are booking in the web page of your apartment.
Pricing
  1. The price of the stay is guaranteed with the approval of your reservation. Water, electricity, heating and taxes during your stay are included in this amount. This price also includes the cleaning services at the end of the stay and all household linens.
Arrival and Departure
  1. On your Arrival in Barcelona we would ask you to call us on the telephone number provided on your confirmation e-mail to set your arrival time at the apartment. When you arrive to the apartment we will provide you with the keys for entry to the apartment and you must pay in cash (unless otherwise indicated in the web page of your apartment) the remaining part of the payment plus a fully refundable Security Deposit that will be returned at the end of stay if no damage. A valid ID or passport will be required at check-in.
  2. On your Departure date we will be at the apartment at the concerted hour to collect the apartment keys and return the refundable deposit if no damage.
  3. Check-in time is 15:00 pm. If your arrival is earlier, pease let us know in advance so we might try to accommodate you before.
  4. Check-in after 21:00 means an extra charge of 20€.
  5. Check-out time is 12:00 am. If you require a later departure let us know in advance and we will try to accommodate you providing our next arrival is not early the same day.
Cancellations and no-show policy
  1. For cancellations more than 30 days prior to arrival, we will refund 100% of the reservation deposit (- 5% for bank fees).
    For cancellations from 30 to 15 days prior to arrival, there will be no refund of the reservation deposit.
    For cancellations from 14 to 2 days prior to arrival, we will charge 50% of the total reservation value.
    For cancellations received less than 2 days or for no shows, we will charge the total reservation value.
    These amounts will be refunded or charged from the same credit card of the reservation.
  2. In the event that the client changes the dates, it will be understood as a new stay and it shall be subject to the cancellation policy.
  3. If you have to cut short your stay, there will be no refund of accomodation charges.
Terms of occupancy
  1. Violation of occupancy limits will result in forfeiture of all monies and termination of occupancy.
  2. The guest agrees to abide by the rules and regulations of the community and refrain from any activity which interferes with the quiet enjoyment of its residents.
  3. Freestanza reserves the right to terminate the occupancy of the guests for activity which disturbs the peace and quiet of the building’s other residents.
  4. Freestanza reserves the right to substitute comparable accommodations in the event of a home emergency.
  5. No pets or animals of any kind are allowed in the apartment (unless otherwise indicated in the web page of your apartment).
Liability disclaimer
  1. Our responsibility is strictly limited to the amount which you have paid for your stay at your reserved apartment.
  2. We do not accept liability for any loss or direct or indirect damage you may suffer in the apartment.
